A Deep Love for The Craft

I’ve always had a love for art. It started in 3rd grade when I helped fellow elementary students create books. From there, I would spend hours with charcoal creating black and white images of National Geographic photographs. Then, on to people from our high school, families, and celebrities.
I headed off to college, and my whole art world was opened. My love of charcoal and black and white images remained, but my eyes were opened up to a whole new world of color. From oil, guache, and acrylic paints to oil and chalk pastels and colored pencils. Having graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts, and Art History from University of Northern Colorado,
I’ve developed that knowledge, and passion into my artistic style. I was able to translate that style to a tattoo artist position, and then to a painting instructing career at Canvas and Cocktails.
Whether it’s a graduation, wedding, new baby, family portrait or other event or vision you’d like captured, I’d be delighted to apply that magical touch through art.
